The Witcher Season 4 and 5 will introduce a fresh cast for Geralt, with Liam Hemsworth stepping into the role previously portrayed by Henry Cavill. Additionally, we will also see some new characters added to the series.
Recently, images have been released showing Hemsworth's stunt double, Joel Adrian, in the new costume. While he maintains the signature long, white hair, his attire differs from that seen in Season 3.
The Witcher Season 4: Liam Hemsworth As Geralt
In the upcoming two seasons, we'll see some new characters and recastings. Even a central character in the narrative has undergone a casting shift. Liam Hemsworth will take on the role of Geralt of Rivia starting from Season 4, replacing the beloved Henry Cavill.
With the introduction of a new cast often comes a wardrobe update for the characters. This holds true for Geralt, as indicated by a recently released photo. Unfortunately, Liam himself is not seen in the pictures, but his stunt double, Joel Adrian, who played a Witcher named Hemrik in the second season. Adrian was also responsible for stunt work in Season 3.
Geralts New Look
In the upcoming season, Geralt will undergo a slight change in appearance. Not only will his face look different, but his clothes have also been adjusted. You can view the full picture here.
In contrast to Season 3, the jacket is notably shorter with a reduced belt length. It also appears less bulky and is now left unbuttoned for a more casual appearance. The open-jacket look feels more relaxed compared to previous seasons. However, the gloves likely remain unchanged from Season 3.
Changes in appearance are not uncommon in The Witcher. In Season 3, Henry Cavill also received a slightly different outfit compared to previous seasons, featuring less armor.
What do you think about the new outfit? We're already excited to see Hemsworth's complete outfit and hope that Netflix will soon release an official first image.
