Fans of the Netflix show Warrior Nun are collectively losing their minds right now. After months of fruitless begging, getting about a thousand different hashtags trending every other week and basically no acknowledgement from Netflix whatsoever, their prayers have finally been answered.

Simon Barry, creator of the popular show Warrior Nun, recently had good news to share. Apparently the fan's passion and persistence actually saved the show that was so abruptly cancelled by Netflix after its second season.

Fan's Twitter Campaigning Actually Helped

Warrior Nun was cancelled in early 2023 and the fanbase went absolutely crazy. There were petitions and campaigns all across Twitter. At the time, it was like watching thousands of people live through the five stages of grief.

But there is some good news, finally! Those fans never had to get to the fifth stage of grief, acceptance, because their protests have forced Netflix to recommission the show!

The showrunner confirmed that the show was coming back via Twitter, although weirdly he never mentioned Netflix. That could mean that Warrior Nun will move to a new platform, but either way the point still stands: Warrior Nun is coming back!

We're absolutely stoked to get more of Ava and Bea!

Did you know the show is based on Ben Dunns comic book Warrior Nun Areala ?
