The newest title in the Final Fantasy franchise will have a party system, which resembles the one from previous game Final Fantasy 15. You only have control over the main character Clive, while you can give commands to your party members. Y
You're able to change out your party members at any time, depending on who you unlocked throughout the campaign.
This new system might bring further changes regarding the leveling of your party members and their training with it. Especially the question, how your allies are gonna level up is an interesting one, if you're able to change them anytime.

Party Members in Final Fantasy 16
Party Members are your companions, with whom you make your way through the Final Fantasy 16 world. They will support you on your missions and quest and fight alongside you. It's not possible to control or play with them directly, since they are AI driven.
These are your party members:
Torgal: he is a wolf from the Northern Territories and was found during an expedition. He was gifted to the Archdukes' sons and is now a loyal companion for Clive. Torgal is able to follow orders by Clive and will fight alongside him against anybody who dares to harm his master.
Cidolfus Telamon: This former soldier turned outlaw is a man of science, who is also Dominant with the power of the Eikon Ramuh. So he will be a mighty companion for your play through.
Jill Warrick: She was raised alongside the Archeduke's sons, Clive and Joshua Rosfield. So she's got a strong band with Final Fantasy's protagonist Clive. She is also a Dominant for the Eikon Shiva and will be a strong companion during your travels and missions.
Final Fantasy 16 is set to be released on June 22 on PlayStation 5.
