Final Fantasy 16: Limit Break Explained
Limit Break allows Clive to unleash devastating attacks, which go far beyond his usual powers. Players need to fill the Limit Break Gauge (the yellow bar underneath your HP) and then press L3 + R3 at the same time to activate Limit Break. The gauge is filled up slowly as Clive deals damage or gets hit by enemies. This actually doesn’t take super long, but certain Eikon abilites can make the meter go up even faster.
How Strong Is Limit Break In Final Fantasy 16?
Hella strong. Once you activate Limit Break, Clive goes into “Semi-Prime” form, which sees him embrace his inner Ghost Rider and burst into flames. In this form, you will do a lot more damage and get new, longer combos and abilities.
This is obviously very useful, so make sure to use Limit Break whenever you can! We recommend saving it up until you have filled up all three bars, which will prolong the effect of Limit Break. Use it especially for boss fights and other hard encounters to deal with them super quickly.
