PC gamers are eagerly awaiting the God of War Ragnarök PC port. Sony has finally announced its release date during a livestream.
God of War Ragnarök (check out our review) was released on November 9, 2022, for PS4 and PS5. Many fans, including myself, thoroughly enjoyed seeing the story of Kratos and his son Atreus continue after the fantastic reboot of the series in 2018.
The best way to play that first game is probably on PC now, as it's available on Steam and is one of the few PC ports that runs smoothly. Even though God of War is known as a PlayStation-exclusive series, the PC port of the first game was a huge success, enhancing an already amazing game. But what about the Ragnarök PC port?
God of War Ragnarök PC Port Announced
During a livestream on May 31, Sony finally announced that the God of War: Ragnarök PC port will be released on September 19, 2024.
But there is more! The blockbuster will not only be ported to PC, but will also come with the "Valhalla" DLC, a roguelike game mode which is included in the $60 package.
We also have even more good news for all you PC nerds. God of War: Ragnarök will have full upscaling support, with Nvidia's DLSS, but also AMD's FSR and Intel's XeSS.
And the list goes on, Sony even included widescreen support, so that Ragnarök can be played in 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios.
