Folks, it's time for another GTA 6 leak. And what a special one this is. This might be the biggest batch of "info" we got for GTA 6 yet. Of course, we need to give you the usual disclaimer: take this with huge grains of salt. This one comes from 4chan, so be cautious. As long as Rockstar Games hasn't confirmed something, it remains mere speculation. But... this one has so much going on, you have to see it and decide for yourself, what you take out of it. So, let's check it out!

GTA 6: Alleged Developer Leaks Everything

Someone claiming to be a developer at Rockstar Games published tons of supposed details about GTA 6 on 4chan. This was picked up by our good friends over on Reddit as well as on Twitter. Trust me... this is a lot. Every possible part of GTA 6 is being (allegedly) leaked here, from characters, setting, story, to gameplay and so much more. Let's summarize some of the most interesting points, before you can check the original post for yourself down below.

• GTA 6 Release date set for late 2024
• Two protagonists, one male one female (read more about that down below)
• Will feature a chapter system, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2
• Multiple cities with two main areas – Vice City & Cuba
• 97 planned main mission, around 60 hours playtime for the story
• New, sophisticated AI system
• Destructible environments, but can't completely destroy buildings
• 12 planned radio stations, FLASH F.M. from the original Vice City will return
• "The world map is roughly 103.14 sq/km"

Damn... that's a lot! Like I said, this person really got all the deets, or at least they claim to have them. There are a lot more details that I left out for clarity. But you can see all the posts right here:

Now, to the big question: Do we think this is legit? I have to be honest... no, I don't think so. There is just very little, that hasn't been claimed or (reliably) leaked before about GTA 6, as you can see by the many links to EarlyGame's coverage in the list above. We heard most of this before, and some of the added details seem like a bit of a troll ("roughly 103.14 sq/km"... come on, bro).

It's important to note that this is just a rumor and nothing is confirmed by Rockstar themselves, so take all information with a grain of salt. This information comes from Twitter user Matheusvictorbr and it goes over the initial prologue of the game.

GTA VI Will Feature Twin Protagonists

According to the leaks, the story will start off in South America, where we find out about the background and motivations of the characters. Though the main story will take place in Vice City and Carcer City, the prologue will take place in South America, probably Brazil.

The story will feature a set of twins (a boy and a girl) who get separated after the murder of their parents. The twins will then meet once more as adults, but they're on completely different sides of a coin now.

We already made a video about this almost 2 years ago. Sure, not everything will be true – but the fundamentals are pretty much the same.

According to the rumors the brother will have joined the DOA, an agent for the fictional Drug Enforcement Agency that we all know from previous Grand Theft Auto games. On the other hand, the sister will have worked her way up in the cartel and is now a hitwoman. She is seeking out those who caused their parents deaths.

According to the leaker this is going to be the first GTA game which will take a deep dive into the cartel/military way of life. Not only that, but apparently the game will also feature destructible buildings, as well as 'ambitious tech' which the military will use. Sounds ominous, right?

Insider Seems To Confirm GTA 6 Protagonists Rumor

One of the most reliable insiders in the video game business, Jason Schreier from Bloomberg, also hinted towards the fact that GTA 6 could have two main protagonists. Schreier responded on Reddit to someone claiming that GTA 6 will have three protagonists, just like its predecessor GTA 5. That is nonsense, according to Jason, who seems to have some inside knowledge on the next Grand Theft Auto. Here's what he had to say in response to the supposed leak:

Nobody has access to as much detailed information as what's been posted by this user. They even got the number of protagonists wrong, GTAVI does not have three protagonists. That’s all I’ll say for now.

As you can see, he is being coy about more details. But his use of "protagonists" seems to suggest that there is going to be more than one, pointing towards a couple of playable characters in GTA 6.
