Nintendo has released a patch for Scarlet & Violet, which was in dire need of one. The game famously launched in a horrible state, with terrible performance issues and tons of bugs and glitches. With the patch, the company has also apologized to fans for this seriously bad issues.

Nintendo Says "Sorry, Won't Happen Again"

The patch has been released for Nintendo Switch and introduced Ranked Battles, as well as some bug fixes. Within the patch notes, Nintendo included a little message, trying to gain some favor back from aggrieved fans. Here's what the message says:

"We are aware that players may encounter issues that affect the games' performance. Our goal is always to give players a positive experience with our games, and we apologise for the inconvenience. We take the feedback from players seriously and are working on improvements to the games."

You will need about 1 GB of space to download the patch, which is actually pretty sizeable for the Switch. While it definitely improves the game, some glitches like legendary duplication are still not fixed. Sadge. Get on it, Ninty!
