Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are getting a DLC, and according to some leakers the information has already found its way onto the internet for everyone to find out about.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet did not have the greatest starts, all in part due to the awful visuals the games have, something a lot of players have complained about. Sure, the bugs were fun and all, but is a game from such a franchise allowed to look like this? But I digress...
Now, it seems like players will be getting some downloadable content for the games on their Nintendo Switch. A leak of what the DLC could look like and what it can include was already shared online.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC Leak: New Content Revealed
Game Freak and Nintendo aren't known for adding DLCs to Pokémon games , but there have been rumours floating about that the new Scarlet and Violet games could change that in the future. Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet, but Pokémon leaker Centro Leaks has found some information that could solidify the rumours.
Here are some games from the early 2000s that look better than the Pokémon games:
Two new characters could be coming to the game. One is named Billy and the other O'Nare. The latter of the two has a battle programmed where they would fight with a Meowth. This person could also be a professor for the trainer class, even if this class hasn't been a part of the games yet.
Some fans are already theory crafting and believe that these two could be Nemona's parents who have both only been named, but have never appeared in the games thus far.
So far there are two assumptions about these leaks and the content in them. One is that we will be getting a Pokémon DLC, while another is that this information could just be content cut from the games that has just been left in the files.
Nintendo and Game Freak have not commented on these leaks yet, but are we even surprised? We will have to wait for an official announcement to find out whether we actually will be getting a DLC for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
