Fans of the Zelda franchise were given a treat with the release of Breath of the Wild. Since then, they had to wait for quite a while before the sequel, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, was announced.

Tears of the Kindom was actually set to release this year, but has been delayed. Now it finally got its ESRB (Entertainment Software Ratings Boards) rating, so things are looking promising.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Receives Same ESBR Rating as Predecessor

Tears of the Kingdom has gotten a rating of E+10 in the USA. If you're 10 years or older, this is good news for you.

TotK got the same rating as its predecessor, even though the trailer made the setting look a little darker. Guess we can't expect too much violence and nudity in this one. Fine with me.

The ESBR rating doesn't mean we can be certain that the game won't be delayed again, but it means that the game is already in a state where all elements of the story and graphics can be evaluated.

If they don't push the release date back again, we can expect Tears of the Kingdom to come out exclusively on Switch as of May 12, 2023. So let's keep hoping, people!
