LoL Patch 14.1 has been out for a few days and Riot is hard at work with some quick fixes. The list is pretty long for the first hotfix of 2024 though.
LoL Season 14 is here. New items have graced the rift, but not everyone is performing as intended. Of course, there are also quite a few bugs that have slipped their way into LoL Patch 14.1 and all of those issues will need a quick hotfix.
So, Riothas shipped a b-patch, with multiple champion adjustments, as well as changes to come items and systems that are currently keeping players from enjoying the game.
LoL Patch 14.1b: All Champion Adjustments Coming This Patch
Riot Phroxzon has given detailed explanations on why some of the champion nerfs and buffs are being taken in this League of Legends hotfix patch. Champions like Fizz, Gwen and Kayle are receiving nerfs due to their inherent power with the new items, while others like Zed have lost quite a bit of power.
Champion Buffs
With Zed having been so dependent on Ravenous Hydra in the previous season, Riot is going to be buffing him in this b-patch. Alongside Zed is also Zac, who lost a lot of power due to the removal of Radiant Virtue.
Trinity Force might not feel underpowered, but some of the ranged Tri-Force champions took a hit in this patch, which is why Ezreal and Corki are also on the buff list.

Naafiri is also receiving a buff due to her itemization not being the strongest and her own kit also feeling a bit weak in the current meta. So, our favorite assassin doggo will also be getting a buff.
Champion Nerfs
We've also got a few nerfs coming in with this hotfix. With early Lethality items being very strong, champions like Aphelios will have insane power spikes, hence why Riot is going to be nerfing the best F-tier bot laner in the game right now.
Riot Phroxzon also explained that some of the AP champions that have truly gained a lot from this patch, like Fizz, Gwen and Singed, will also be getting nerfed, due to how good they are with the new items, but the items themselves aren't the problems.

LeBlanc is also on the list because Riot is trying to nerf her AD builds, which have become part of the meta again. It seems that while Twisted Fate is getting some AD buffs for the upcoming LoL Patch 14.2, the LeBlanc mains can't have the same fun, eh?

Hydra items like Ravenous Hydra and Profane Hydra need some love and Riot is going to be buffing these items in the hotfix, along with some tank items as well to keep things even.

In comparison to Ravenous and Profane Hydra, the third Hydra-item – Titanic Hydra – has felt a bit too good, meaning it's set for a nerf. Along with it, some AP items are also going to be toned down along with Collector which has been the go-to early Lethality item in the game.

Along with these changes there are some bug fixes coming for Hwei as well and Riot is going to keep a close eye on Illaoi who has a harder time being the boss woman she is meant to be due to the change in walls. For now, the team doesn't want to adjust her numbers though, since the fix is more complicated than that.
LoL Patch 14.1b is now live with these changes.
