PlayStation accidentally leaked that Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare might come to PS Plus in February.
With Resident Evil 2 Remake being added to January's PS Plus catalog, survival horror fans already have something to keep them busy until the Silent Hill 2 Remake will hit the shelves later this year. It looks like another classic is set to make PS Plus subscribers happy in February.
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare Enters The PS Plus In February
We almost missed it, but an attentive Reddit user pointed out that the British PlayStation Twitter account mistakenly listed Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare in the lineup of PS Plus games for January, even though it wasn't part of that month's selection of games. Shortly after, the tweet was deleted, but there are still excited replies mentioning Alone in the Dark.
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare (PS1) might possibly be coming to PlayStation Plus Premium in the future by u/TURB0_THUNDER in GamingLeaksAndRumours
But that's not all: The PlayStation Access YouTube Channel also mentioned the game in a video. However, the corresponding clip was also removed after the Twitter slip-up. Luckily, a Twitter/X user saved a screenshot.

So we have two reasons to believe that Alone in the Dark is indeed coming to the PS Plus lineup for premium subscribers next month. If you're done with that, you can also look forward to another game of the series at the end of March. That's right! The release for Alone in the Dark: Remake is scheduled for March 20, 2024.
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, first released in 2001, is a survival horror game, where players take on the roles of Edward Carnby and Aline Cadrac, investigating the mysterious death of an old friend. But what would survival horror be without supernatural creatures? Exactly: boring, regular every day horror. That's why you'll also have to face grotesque Creatures of Darkness in Alone in the Dark.
Well then, happy surviving!
