Over the weekend, Helldivers 2 players had the opportunity to fulfill a specific Major Order to ensure the arrival of the Exosuits. As it turned out, this wasn't much of a challenge, as players only needed a single day to liberate the attacked planet Tien Kwan, where the mechs are manufactured. Now they're here, and we'll tell you if the battle was worth it.

This Is What You Can Do With Mechs In Helldivers 2

Just one day after the Major Order, the official Twitter account of Helldivers 2 announced that Tien Kwan had been completely liberated and the production of mechs could continue. But what can these exosuits actually do? Here are the stats of EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit.

The currently available mech holds 15 rockets and 1000 bullets for the Gatling Gun, which you cannot refill. You can have 2 mechs delivered by ship per mission, with a 10-minute cooldown in between. As you can see, the exosuit isn't really intended to accompany you throughout the entire mission. It also doesn't seem to be much of a tank, but rather deals significant damage, as some players on the Helldivers subreddit have noted.

They tested the mechs in various situations and concluded that they are well-suited for choke point defense if you're solo extracting. Furthermore, they can be used effectively as line holders, for example when securing the extraction point, as they can eliminate 7-8 titans and chargers in a short amount of time.

In the previous Helldivers game, there were a variety of different mechs, so we can expect that there are more exosuits awaiting us in the second installment. In a video where a player was first shown mechs by an unknown teammate, two different models were already visible. Additionally, the strategem trait "vehicle" suggests that we can expect further additions of this kind in the future.

The fans are very satisfied with their new toy and find the way it was added to the game very engaging as it was something they could achieve as a community. It would be very cool if the next updates were similar in nature.
