The next version of Honkai Star Rail is much closer than most players realize, and it's time to decide which character you want to pull for in 2.2! If you already decided for Penacony's most talented singer, Robin, then this guide will be quite interesting to you!
The upcoming version 2.2 of Honkai Star Rail is for many players one of the most important. Why, you may ask? — Well, in short: Robin. The dazzling little star from Penacony will finally be available for us to pull on May 8,2024, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one looking forward to such a cool new support unit.
If you also plan on pulling for Robin, then how about you check out the following guide on her?
Let's build the strongest Robin ever!
Honkai Star Rail Robin Build: Best Relics, Light Cones & Team Comps
Robin, a distinguished Halovian singer, was born in Penacony and ascended to stellar renown. As the young and beautiful young lady Robin is, she embodies elegance and restraint. Recently, The Family invited her to perform at the Charmony Festival in her homeland.
“No matter what others say, I'll always be demanding more from myself.” — Robin

Robin possesses the unique ability to employ the power of Harmony to transmit her music, creating a “resonance” that affects her audience and all types of living beings.
Robin's Build
In order to have the strongest Robin you could ever imagine, we have to first take a look at her Relics. You should aim to give her a completed 4-piece set together with a fitting 2-piece set. Alternatively, you can also start off by giving Robin three 2-piece sets instead.
There is one important thing to note: For now, you should only give Robin Relics you already have, since there are leaks that an entirely new set - which will suit her perfectly - is coming out in version 2.3! So don't waste your stamina on farming Relics for her, since you will probably have to swap them out for anyway.
The best solution for now, are theses two options:
Set Combination #1
If you want to make sure to have a high ultimate uptime, choose this option:
- 2-piece: Musketeer of Wild Wheat / Prisoner in Deep Confinement
- 2-piece: Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
- 2-piece: Fleet of the Ageless / Broken Keel
Set Combination #2
You can also try this option, if you want to get some damage out of Robin:
- 2-piece: Musketeer of Wild Wheat / Prisoner in Deep Confinement
- 2-piece: Champion of Streetwise Boxing
- 2-piece: Space Sealing Station
Both options are super viable, however, I would personally always choose the first one, since she is after all a Harmony support, which means her buffs will be the most essential part of her kit!
Robin's Best Stats
The right (sub)stats are just as important as picking the correct set! Let's take a closer look at what our superstar wants on her Relics:
- Body: ATK%
- Boots: SPD → ATK%
- Planar Sphere: ATK%
- Link Rope: Energy Regeneration Rate
- Overall Prio: ATK% → SPD → ERR% → Effect RES → other defensive stats
Building Robin is really easy, since all she needs in order to make her buffs stronger is ATK! Next to that, you need a good amount of SPD and everything else can be defensive stats to keep her alive if she ever gets targeted.
Robin's Light Cones
Another key component of a completed build for Robin is a fitting Light Cone, and of course, just like every other 5-Star character, she will also have her very own signature weapon!
Signature Light Cone
In the Special Program Livestream of version 2.2, we could already see Robin's signature Light Cone, alongside the one that belongs to Topaz. Since Robin is “just” a support unit, you should really think about if you want to spend your hard-earned Stellar Jade on her weapon, or save up for one of the upcoming characters!
“Flowing Nightglow” is a fantastic all-rounder for all Harmony units, so if you like Robin, consider getting it as well! It has the following effect:
- The wearer gains 1 stack of Cantillation every time any ally attacks. Each stack of Cantillation increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 3.0%, up to 5 stacks. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, removes Cantillation and gains Cadenza. Cadenza increases the wearer's ATK by 48% and the team's DMG dealt by 24%, lasting for 1 turn.
Let's take a look at the alternatives!
Other Light Cone Options
All Light Cones displayed are at S1.

The new 4-Star even Light Cone “For Tomorrow's Journey” is meant to be Robin's free to play signature Light Cone, and can be obtained at S5 by playing the upcoming event!
Robin's Team Comps
Last but not least, we should take a look at some teams in which Robin would fit!
Follow-Ups For Days
And here we have Robin's best team! I know, it's quite expensive, but we will have more free to play friendly options down below!
Robin's kit synergizes super well with follow-up attacks and since Topaz is also up during version 2.2, you can actually build almost this entire team during the upcoming version. Note that Dr. Ratio won't be available for free any longer after this version!
Double Harmony
Double Harmony team comps are super fun to play in my opinion! You can swap out Bronya if you have Ruan Mei or Sparkle instead, since they are a little more meta.
Instead of Xueyi, you can play any other hyper carry unit! One of the best one is actually Seele. March 7th can also be replaced, if you have Fu Xuan for example.
Free To Play Action
If you are a newer player, or maybe don’t have the fitting units for the two comps above, we’ve also prepared this super free to play friendly option!
All of these 4-Stars can be obtained without engaging in the gacha system, and you can also get free Eidolons for Herta! This team works much better than you may expect as of right now!
And that warps up our guide on Robin! The last thing that needs to be done now, is actually pulling her! Good luck to all who are trying to get her once version 2.2 launches!
