Cyberpunk 2077 has had some of the best numbers since it was released thanks to the Netflix series Edgerunners which play in the universe of the game. So, now taking that momentum, CD Projekt Red revealed a boat load of new titles during their recent Strategy Update.

So, other than a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, what else does the Polish developer have up their sleeve? Well, a lot actually so let's dissect everything we found out and what fans can get hyped for. Spoiler: The Witcher was mentioned, multiple times.

New Parallel AAA Development Plan

In the live-stream it was revealed that CD Projekt Red would be working on a new development strategy when it comes to their titles. They also stated they would foster better communication between the developers and the communities, as well as a healthy and sustainable work environment.

Oh, and expect more multiplayer games, since this is something CD Projekt Red will focus on in coming years alongside their single-player games.

All New Games in Development by CD Projekt Red

Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel in the Works

First let's check out what we found out about the new Cyberpunk game that is currently in development. This game is known under the name Project Orion and we know that this game will be released after the first big Cyberpunk 2077 DLC: Phantom Liberty. This game will be developed by CD Projekt Red.

Multiple New Witcher Games in Development

Now when we think of CD Projekt Red, we also think of the Witcher. This game is the developer's most iconic title and put them on the map. So of course, they're going to add to the world created by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.

Project Canis Majoris

This game is going to be developed by a third party studio, but with The Witcher veterans at the helm of it all. This will be a single-player open world RPG set in the world of the Witcher, so we might get to explore new characters that we love from the Witcher series through this game.

Project Sirius

This game will be developed by The Molasses Flood and is going to bring a brand-new take on the existing Witcher series. According to CD Projekt Red this game will be something for veterans, as well as new players of the series and is currently in pre-production, so don't expect anything groundbreaking to be revealed just yet.

Project Polaris

Now, the biggest announcement of the bunch had to be Project Polaris, which is going to span over 6-years and will mean even more new Witcher games. This is going to be a story-driven open world RPG and seeks to open the door to another Witcher trilogy. Who else is hyped for this?

New IP in the Works: Project Hadar Revealed

Up to this point we know what we can expect from the games, right? But another, brand-new IP was also revealed in the stream called Project Hadar. This will be completely developed in-house and is going to set itself apart from both The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.

Currently, this game is in the conceptual phase, with CD Projekt working on the game since 2021. So, we will likely have to wait a while longer until we find out more. But it looks like we're going to be well-fed in the upcoming years with good gameplay and games.

Let's just hope they don't release games too early again like they initially did with Cyberpunk 2077 which has since become a very fun and good game, yet overshadowed by the initial reviews.
