Evotinction’s protagonist isn’t combat-ready, as Doctor Lui will need to lean on other skill sets like hacking and stealth to avoid the perilous reoccurrence of her death. Doesn't this sound like something we have experienced before? Something like Dead Space?

Is Evotinction Coming Out In 2023?

Evotinction is centered around an infected AI System that’s been comprised. This caused innocent humans to die as AI Robots went rogue, but the Head of Research & Development at HERE won’t stand for these senseless murders. She’ll use combined skill sets of hacking and stealth to search this infected facility while looking for survivors. This is somewhat similar to an upcoming game named Atomic Heart. However, there are notable differences between Evotinction and Atomic Heart, as one game leans heavily towards actions & the other towards cybernetic hacking.

Spikewave Games has set Evotinction into the near future, and this will create an exciting dynamic that few IPs have explored. We’ll see the relationship between extinction and evolution as humanity advances technological advancements. This causes for the unexpected genetic altering of humanity, as quantum mechanics changed everything. But our greatest creations as a species can be destructive, and that’s what Evotinction explores, an unnatural relationship between the host and founder. Wouldn’t you turn on your creator if your purpose was to obey them purely?

Development on Evotinction started in 2016. Since then, Spikewave Games have added themes that explore our near-future dystopian setting. Therefore, realism associated with Evotinction could be greater than anyone expects. What Will I Fight In Evotinction?

Evotinction is saturated with AI Robots that served humanity before becoming infected with the RED Virus. These robotic humanoids will become your most common opponent, as they regularly patrol the HERE Facility. However, additional enemies are around every corner. You will face advanced androids that are purposely built for murder. But guess what? There are ways to kill them, and this is how!

Is Evotinction Coming To PS5 And PC?

Evotinction isn’t launching onto the Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One. Instead, Spikewave Games is making this upcoming title an exclusive for the PS5 and PC.

This isn’t surprising, as the PS5 and PC have an adult-oriented fanbase that will favor the hacking mechanics of Evotinction. Unfortunately, Spikewave Games hasn’t announced any special editions to launch for the PS5 or PC. But you can add this upcoming game to your Steam Wishlist today and patiently wait until it’s released in Spring 2023.

Is Evotinction Part Of PS+ Premium?

There haven’t been any announcements to suggest that Evotinction will launch onto the PS+ Game Pass. However, things could quickly change as Sony looks to beat Microsoft with their subscription service.
