Sometimes it's all about the money, even in games. Or, as the singer-songwriter Shania Twain once sang: "We live in a greedy little world. That teaches every little boy and girl. To earn as much as they can possibly".

Money makes life easier, and every player in Valisthea can really use some of that Gil. So, here are our tips on how to make Gil fast in Final Fantasy 16.

Final Fantasy: How To Make Gil Fast

Gil might be the best resource of them all in Final Fantasy 16, nearly nobody will say no to the gold ol' money. And no, in this guide, we will only show you the legal ways of making money in the game.

The Hunt Board

At the Hunt Board, you are able to find sidequests all over Valisthea. As the name already hints at, you will be hunting in these quests and your targets are some of the fiercest monsters in the region.

You can see the difficulty based on the letters C to S, with S being the hardest challenge. So if you have the time and will to travel around and slay these enemies, there are promising rewards in these missions. It's certainly a more challenging way to make Gil, but it's absolutely worth it.

Doing Sidequests

Side quests might not the most attractive thing to do at first sight. But it's a great opportunity to interact with different NPCs, travel the in-game world and even improve stuff like your Potion Pouch. And sidequests are usually a little bit easier and faster to complete than main story quests.

So, if you take some time and complete them, it's a fast and easy way to make money. You can get sidequests by talking to different NPCs. Sidequests are marked by a green icon.

Sell Your Goods

In Final Fantasy 16, you're able to craft your own weapons, accessories, gear and equipment. So it might be an option for you, to sell no longer needed stuff. There are plenty of low level and easy to craft goods, that you can sell afterward. Visit the forge "The Black Hammer" and talk to the blacksmith Blackthorne in the Hideaway.

Sell Items

This might be the easiest way to make Gil in Final Fantasy, since nearly all enemies will drop some stuff after you defeat them. You can sell this loot at "Charon's Toll" located in the Hideaway. Just get rid of all the stuff you no longer need to make a fast buck.
